» OVERALL PERSONALITY:
When she, Bree, was human, she wasn’t very popular. She preferred to keep to herself and not befriend anyone. Maybe it was because of her father, he always told her that she was worthless and that it was her fault that her mother left. Maybe it was because no one talked to her and got to know the Bree inside.

Once a vampire, Bree retreated into her shell even more. She would stay away from the other newborns, not wanting to get into their spats. Well, the spats they had usually turned into fights which turned into one, or more, of the newborns dying.

When she met Diego, she felt… happy. She had someone who liked her, someone who respected, and someone who was a friend to Bree. Eventually, well more like a few days, she felt more than friendship for Diego. He was the only one who ever treated her in a way that was respectful.

Her life felt complete, and she was in love for the first, and possibly last, time. When he disappeared, her heart started to shattered.

Finding out that Victoria and Riley killed him, shattered her heart again. She had nothing to live for; as being a vampire hurt her mentally and she lost those, well only Diego, she cared about.

When Carlisle offered her a new life, she took it. A new chance, she thought maybe she could find a new life; a new love.

» HISTORY:
Bree Elizabeth Tanner was born to Arthur and Nellie Tanner in the late spring of 1992. Her father, expecting a boy, wasn’t pleased with her and refused to help name her. She grew up, and her father slowly grew attached to her.
When she was four years old, her mother left. No note, no warning, no nothing. Her father went to work, took her to pre-school, and when they got home. She was gone. Her dad was at a loss, and Bree was confused. She didn’t know what happened, and didn’t know why her dad was so distraught.
He, her father, started losing interest into her. He let her fend for herself, and he just went to work and then came home. When she, Bree, got older, her father started to mentally abuse her. To him, she was worthless, a piece of nothing, ugly and trash.
Bree tried to ignore her father, she went to school and then came home. The same thing happened every day. Get up, make her father and herself breakfast, go to school, come home, get mocked by her father, get taunted by her father, go to sleep.
Finally, young Bree got fed up. She packed up a bag and then left. For a week or so, she dug through trash cans to look for food. She would sleep in alleys, and freeze at nights. One night, a man, a beautiful one at that, approached her and offered her food. Bree, being hungry, unwittingly accepted.
The next thing she knew what that she was on fire. Her bones and body hurt. When she woke up, her eyes a bright red and throat burning. She was told not to kill herself like the others.
She met Diego, another newborn preparing to fight Victoria, and fell in love. He became one of her only friends, and he truly cared for her. Right before they were to go and fight the ‘gold-eyes’, he disappeared.
She went to Forks, but when it came to fighting, she hid. When it was over, she came out and was offered a place with the Cullen family.

Bree had run away from her house just a few months before and now she was in the middle of a full blown war between two mythological creatures. She had never wanted this, to be a vampire. She never dreamed of it.
Bree silently wondered if it was her fault that it happened to her; what if she didn’t run away and take the burger from Riley? Maybe her life would be different. But for Bree, it was too late for maybes. She was a vampire, and a young one at that
She had followed the army to Forks, to where they were supposed to kill the ‘yellow-eyes’, hoping to see if she could find Diego. Unbeknownst to her, Diego was dead. Riley and Victoria had killed him.
Bree followed the small, and untrained, vampire army to the bright clearing. At first, no one moved. It was a face-off between the two sides. Then one of the wolves, a black-furred one with bright brown eyes, moved towards the group of vampires.
That’s when the fight started. The black wolf pounced on one of the other new born vampires. She stood in horror as he bit the arm off and spit it out. He backed up, and jumped on the vampire once again.
This had terrified Bree. Around her, screams and howls broke out and she just stood at the back of it. “Riley!” she shrieked as one of the wolves turned and had managed to catch her eyes.
Luckily for Bree, another vampire pounced on the wolf, giving her enough time to run and crouch down into a ball in the bushes.
The screams echoed in her mind, and they still reverberated through the clearing. Bree sat in the bushes, wishing for the fight to be over. Suddenly, there was no more noise.
“That’s the last of them, Carlisle” said a voice, a vampire’s, and Bree peeked out of her bush.
“Not quite,” said another beautiful voice, as he started to stalk towards her.
Bree’s eyes widened and she let out a squeal of fright. “Stop, Jasper,” said a blonde vampire, ”I’m Carlisle and this is my family”.
“I’m Bree” she said, taking a deep breath. Her red eyes locked on the brown-eyed girl. “How can you stand her?,” she whined, “She smells so good”
