Please respect the staff and the other members. We are here for your benefit, and do no appreciate back-talk or attitude when you're not happy with something. If you have a problem with something, or someone on this site, please take it to PM and do not post it for the entire forum to see. If you're caught bashing this site, its members, or its staff anywhere, you will be banned. Be warned.
PATIENCE is extremely important around here. As such, the staff will not tolerate any nagging about application checks or replies in the c-box or anywhere else. We will get to things when we can. If you nag us or say anything that makes us feel like you’re nagging, then we will postpone checking your application and you’ll have to wait even longer.
INACTIVITY: We understand people get dry spells, but please warn us if you're going to be away; it’s common courtesy. If you don't leave us a message or let us know about an absence and you're gone for an extreme amount of time, you'll be deleted. You’re more than welcome to re-register if you come back and find your account deleted, but you must remain active otherwise you’ll just be deleted again. Also, please note that if you register on the site and do not post an application within a week, you will be deleted. As such, if you do post an application and either don’t finish it or don’t make changes that were asked of you within a week, it will be moved to the incomplete board and you will have to PM a staff member if you want it moved back.
ROLE-PLAYING
Last Sunrise is an intermediate level, literate site with a minimum word count of 350 for all in-character posts. Be warned that some members may write a lot more than this, and require a reply to be a bit more for there to be enough to go off of. Make sure that you're aware of the post lengths you're getting into first, so there isn't any trouble later on.
There is no killing off another character unless talked over with said character before hand. If there is a plan where someone will die, please pm one of the staff members to let us know what is going to happen. It's appreciated so we don't accidentally jump down your throat for nothing. Also, god-moding will not be tolerated on this site. You are not allowed to control the actions of another character unless they give you permission - but even then, it's general. We don’t want to see a whole paragraph of god-moding just so you can have length in your post.
Also, in line of Proboards’ Terms of Service, please keep posts PG-13 at most. If there is a big enough desire for mature threads, then the staff will make a romance board that is password protected, and members can PM us for the password. As it is right now, there is no such board and there will not be one created until a group of people want it. Please note that if one is created, content described must still be PG-13. This means that all threads that involve intercourse can be played out until you get to the intercourse itself, at which point you must fast forward to after it’s over. Also, keep the mention of drugs and alcohol limited. Making reference to it is fine, but please do not actually play it out.
CHARACTERS
As far as multiple characters go, we do allow them. However, we ask that you do not take more than five. It's allowed, but a bit on the rocks with the staff. For every two girls you have, there should be one male (and vice versa), to keep things even. Please do not take on more characters than you can handle. If a staff member sees that you want another character but your other character(s) is/are inactive, your new one will be put on hold until your other character(s) get more active. The only exception to this is if we see you making a good effort to get plots and posts, but others are keeping you waiting or not making any effort in return.
Also, please have the character’s first, middle and last name in all lowercase as your display name. A shorter nickname version of their first name is allowed. There is no character trading allowed. You must also have separate accounts for each character! It’s far too confusing when you use one account to post for every character.
REGARDING HYBRIDS AND CHILDREN OF THE MOON![/color]
We do allow these species on the site, however, we are only allowing five (5) of each because they are supposed to be rare. This may change depending on how popular they become and depending on how many other species we have. [/size]
GRAPHICS
Here on Last Sunrise, we only accept human playbys. That means no anime characters or animals on the boards. With that being said, our avatar size is 100 x 100, and signature sizes can we anything as long as their width does not exceed 500. The code phrase is "my heart is just as silent." If you use any graphics that stretch the boards, the staff will take it down and you will get a PM about it and will not be allowed to put it back up unless it’s been re-sized.
C-BOX
You're allowed to use your name, or your character's name. To get an image beside your name, put the image link in the 'e-mail/url' field. There will be no advertising for other sites, or any planning for other sites allowed in the c-box; that's what the advertising board is for. Keep the swearing and arguing light please; neither one is flattering to potential new members and it will simply scare them away. Links to images and YouTube are allowed, but keep them appropriate!
