» HAIR: Since the length of hair affects his fur coat, Paul likes to keep his dark hair very short. Normally, he styles it with a small amount of gel.
» EYES: Some people say that they eyes are the gateway to one's soul. Well, if that was true, Paul must have a pretty dark soul. His eyes are almost pitch black, and very dull. Unless one would get him angry, than you might see a little fire in them.
» HEIGHT/WEIGHT: Paul towers at a staggering 6'6 and weighs about 180 pounds; he eats a lot.
» STYLE: Before the whole wolf thing took control of his life, Paul was a classic jock. He wore tight tshirts that showed off his muscles, and jeans with holes in them. But since he is a wolf and his temper causes him to shift an awful lot, he basically goes shirtless a majority of the time and wears gym shorts. It's simple and comfortable.
» BODY TYPE: Paul takes great pride in his well defined muscles. Even before he started growing into a muscular wolf creature, he was still pretty ripped. Of course, now that he is a shapeshifter, those muscles just got even more toned.
» DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Besides his devilishly handsome looks, nothing else really sticks out about Paul. Of course, he does have the Quileute pack tattoo on his left shoulder, and an embarrassing birthmark in the shape of a strawberry on his butt, but he tends to forget about those.
» FACE CLAIM: Alex Meraz
*which, as they kiss, consume,
» LIKES: Girls, Mrs. Mikes Potato chips, baseball, swimming/cliff diving, fighting--real or play, Emily's cooking, muffins

» STRENGTHS: picking/winning fights, intimidating people, charming girls, fierce friend, annoying others
» WEAKNESSES: apologizing, losing, when girls get all emotional, expressing emotions other than anger, doesn't trust others too easily, temperamental, possessive
» SECRETS: 1) Paul, despite his big bad boy rep, loves the movie A Walk to Remember. 2) Paul is still a virgin. 3) He thinks the blonde vampire is hot--EW!
» GOALS: 1) Have four wives--kidding!--he actually wants to find his imprintee. 2) Find a way to block his thoughts from the other pack members--he loves them like brothers, and in Leah's case, a sister, but his thoughts are private and some are just plain embarrassing. 3) Keep all bloodsuckers away from his tribe; the Cullens are the exception.
» OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Paul is a classic tough guy. He wants people to be scared of him, and actually gets some sort of odd thrill when he sees fear in others eyes. Even before he knew the secret of being a wolf, he loved to pick fights in school. He's really angsty, and doesn't have a problem taking it out on lesser people. Although, he has managed to simmer down a little since he has a bit more experience with being a wolf and all that. On the other hand, he can be moody too, going from absolutely furious to cheerful and all buddy-buddy with whoever he was just fighting with. It doesn't take much to entertain Paul. He likes watching baseball on TV, or just relaxing and eating other people's food. In a way, he's a fairly simple kind of guy--minus the anger issues, of course. And the fact he's way too conceited for his own good.
Then there's the other side of Paul that most do not get to see. This side is softer than anyone could have ever imagined. This version of Paul almost likes watching chick flicks. Despite what some would think, he is a good boyfriend and very faithful to whatever girl he happens to be dating at the time. In the same way, he's a good friend. He's loyal to those who gain his trust, although that is a difficult thing to do. The nice side of Paul is also more cautious than the other one. He is careful and doesn't let stupid and mean things slip, and even is sensitive to what others say. It surprising that this part of Paul even exists, but don't get too hopeful, seeing this side of Paul is like seeing a blue moon.

» HISTORY: Paul wasn't exactly what those would call a treasured child. To be perfectly honest, Paul was a mistake, an accident. A slip due to the lack of birth control and drunk teenagers. Of course, nine months later, his parents paid the price. Luke and Bethany Richards got married only a mere few weeks after they found out about the pregnancy. They didn't want word going around about a child unless they were legally husband and wife. When Paul was born, it changed the lives of Luke and Bethany entirely. The passion slowly died, and the wariness of becoming parents sunk in. But as Paul grew older and was able to take care of himself more and more, he saw his parents less and less. His parents left him by himself so they could fulfill their teenage dreams they had to put aside when he was born. So at the age of ten, Paul was doing a lot of things for himself and practically living by himself.
The neglect may have been what led to Paul's irritation of others. He got his anger taken out through his classmates by beating them up, or calling them names. He was no stranger in the principal's office, that's for sure. Even as a grade school kid he was always trying to pick fights. He would cut in the lunch line, kick and punch kids during P.E., and make fun of the nerds. The counselor told Paul's parents that it was a cry for attention, that he simply wanted their attention and would do anything to get it. Paul cursed at the counselor and left the room almost immediately, partly because he was just plain pissed, but the other part knew that she may very well be right. So the rest of his school life, he kept his fights personal and tried not to have them break out in the cafeteria. Instead, he picked up a new hobby: Dating. Paul loved flirting with girls and taking them out on dates. If he still bothered to see a counselor, she would have told him he was basically a manwhore because he craved the attention, and maybe he did, but that didn't stop him from doing it.
Despite the countless girls he dated, and the fun fights he had at the local mall parking lot, Paul was still constantly craving social company. He wanted to have normal family meals together, but instead, his dad was off being a big shot architect, and his mom was trying to start up her ballet career. Sure his family was loaded with money, but that didn't give him much satisfaction. He hung out with shady kids and did some stupid things, but it was really because they were going through similiar situations. Their parents were never around as much as they wished either. Paul tended to try and avoid mushy feelings, so he didn't bring it up with his parents. It wasn't like they didn't love him, he just didn't want to have to beg for their attention. He wanted his life to be simple like others and his parents to just want to be with him. It was times like that where he felt truly lonely, like he really was just some big mistake.
It wasn't until his wolf life kicked in that he felt important, meaningful even. It was another quiet evening at home. His mom left him a plate of spaghetti on the kitchen table and another note that claimed she loved him. When he sat down to eat, he tasted that it was ice cold. Cold pasta was what triggered the most life changing thing in his entire life. One minute he was sitting at the counter, glaring the the cold meal, and the next, he was on his hands and knees growling and smashing furniture. He saw it through his eyes, but he couldn't quite comprehend it. He freaked out and started smashing everything within a ten feet radius., but then suddenly, he heard a voice. It was a deep voice that talked him through the horrendous experience. Sam Ulley explained to him what he was, what his job was. And ever since then, Paul felt like he actually had a purpose to his life. He had something worth living for.

» RP SAMPLE:
Paul was walking down a dirt road on his way to Emily's house. He had no good food at his place, and Sam told all of the guys to meet him there anyways. As he walked, he saw two girls jogging. They looked up and saw him, flushed, and looked back down. Paul grinned at them which caused a fit of giggles. An ordinary boy wouldn't have been able to pick up what they were whispering after they passed by him, but thanks to his wolf powers, he heard every word. "Damn, he was hot!" The curly blonde haired one snickered. The redhead simply giggled in agreement. Paul sighed in his head, You have no idea. At the moment, his temperature was a toasty 111 degrees Fahrenheit. And surprisingly, it was sunny out and warmer than usual. He was in his typical pair of shorts and no tshirt. Maybe that was why the girls kept glancing over their shoulders at him. He simply ignored them and continued his walk.
He had been wasting a lot of his time lately thinking about girls. He didn't like doing it because he knew that somewhere out there was the perfect girl for him, the girl he was destined to imprint on. Of course, when he would find her was not clear. He didn't even know if he would find her, Sam said it was rare, but he already imprinted. Along with Jared, and Quill. Quill imprinted on a three year old which would have creeped him out before, but seeing the way Quill looked at her--through Quill's eyes, that is--Paul knew there was nothing romantic about it, not yet at least. Right now, Quill was just the perfect big brother to little Claire. Still, Paul couldn't help but wonder if he ever would meet his imprintee and what it would be like. Would it be sort of complicated at first like it was for Quill and Claire, or would it be simple like how Jared and Kim's relationship was. Or maybe it would be devastatingly difficult like the love triangle between Sam, Emily, and Leah. Paul wasn't sure, and he questioned if it would even be worth it. If he would really like being tied down to just one girl, having to depend on her for everything. He wasn't sure. Not yet at least.
